Kiwis are off to a decent start as Tom Latham and Devon Conway have scored more than 165 runs partnership in their innings. Earlier, Pakistan was bowled out for 438 runs in the ongoing first Test match in Karachi.
Pakistan’s Captain, Babar Azam, played a career-defining knock of 161 runs and lower order batsman Agha Salman smashed 103 as Pakistan posted 438 runs in front of the visitors.

On the 2nd day, as the game began, the hosts lost the wicket of Babar Azam early and later Nauman Ali, Mohammad Wasim Jr and Mir Hamza were also dismissed shortly.
Agha Salman, who was the last man standing for Pakistan led them to a good total of 438 runs with his century. For New Zealand, Southee scalped three and helped them restrict Pakistan early.
Other bowlers including Ajaz Patel, Michael Bracewell and Ish Sodhi also snatched two wickets each while Wagner took one wicket. Before the day was called off, the Kiwis looked in a dominant position as Latham and Convoy carried them forward.
Till the stumps on Day 2, Tom Latham (78*) and Devon Conway (82*) made a partnership of 165 runs and New Zealand were all over the hosts.
