Shastri suggests Rohit to play the aggressor at No 6
Rohit Sharma’s decision to bat in the middle order in the Adelaide and Brisbane Tests, has failed to yield the desired results for the Indian team in the Border-Gavaskar series so far.
Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah won the toss and elected to field against India.
Rohit Sharma played a captain’s knock as he went on to make 89 runs in 61 balls, while Suresh Raina scored a quickfire 47 off 30 balls to help India put a respectable 176/3 in 20 overs.

After Shikhar Dhawan departed on 35 in the 10th over, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina batted sensibly and took India’s score to 117/1 in 15 overs. Rohit Sharma is still going strong on 55, while Raina is not out at 25.

Earlier, Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah won the toss and elected to field against India in the Nidahas Trophy T20 tournament at the R. Premadasa Stadium here on Wednesday.
Both the teams made one change each with India including pacer Mohammed Siraj in place of Jaydev Unadkat while Bangladesh included Abu Hider Rony in place of Taskin Ahmed.
