Italian first-tier Frosinone Calcio’s forward Joel Campbell on Thursday said that his Costa Rican national teammate, goalkeeper Keylor Navas, will not give away his spot in Real Madrid’s starting lineup without a fight.
During the summer transfer window, Real Madrid signed Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who was a starter in Los Blancos’ 4-1 win against Leganes, reports Efe news.
“Keylor is a fighter, he is not going to give up. He is No. 1 of Real Madrid, he did not win three consecutive UEFA Champions Leagues by chance and he will always be in the history of Real Madrid,” Campbell said.

“For me, he is the most important player in the history of Costa Rica. It is an honor for us all. Every Costa Rica player must look up to him as an example to follow,” Campbell stressed.
