India's decorated off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin announced his decision to retire from international cricket moments after the Brisbane Test ended in a draw.

Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah on Monday slammed Indian skipper Virat Kohli for his on-field behaviour in the ongoing second test in Perth. But the actor also praised Kohli on his Facebook post while taking a dig at the 30-year-old.
“Virat K is not only the world’s best batsman but also the world’s worst-behaved player. His cricketing brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners.. And I have no intention of leaving the country by the way,” Naseeruddin Shah wrote in a Facebook post.

The ongoing aggression between Tim Paine and Virat Kohli in the second test between India and Australia started on Sunday but it continued due to which the umpire had to step in.

Social media users made harsh comments on Shah’s post. One of them reads: “Australians have been doing it for longer, than Indian players.”
Shah’s parting shot alluded to Virat’s response to an earlier video where he asked a fan to leave the country. The fan had said he likes English and Australian batsmen more than Indian batsmen.
On the professional front, Naseeruddin Shah was last seen in Hope Aur Hum which was a family comedy film.
