Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly wants veteran wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni to continue playing international cricket even after the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019, which will be held in England and Wales in May and June. Ganguly also said age was not a factor “if someone has talent”.
Many cricket experts believe that the upcoming mega 50 overs event would be Dhoni’s last international outing, but Ganguly thinks otherwise.

“Dhoni can continue after the World Cup. If India wins the Cup and Dhoni performs consistently then why should he retire. Age is never a factor if talent is there,” Ganguly told PTI.

After a horehounds performance in 2018, when Dhoni failed in scoring a single fifty, the Ranchi cricketer has been in great form this year. Dhoni was also a key player during India’s tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Dhoni was awarded Man of the Series during India’s three-match ODI series against Australia Down Under. During India’s limited overs series against Australia, Dhoni scored three consecutive fifties to help the visitors to a 2-1 series win.
