France top division football champions AS Monaco have announced the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Alvaro Fernandez for three seasons, from Spanish club Osasuna.
The 19-year-old Fernandez, who played with Spain's Under-19 team, was the third goalkeeper at Osasuna, and played his first game in the La Liga in September, due to the injury of his teammate Mario Fernandez, reports Efe.

Fernandez said he was happy to join Monaco as the team won the Ligue 1 title for the eighth time last season.
