India’s T20 Vice-Captain Smriti Mandhana played yet another superb knock in the third and last T20I against New Zealand on Sunday at the Seddon Park, Hamilton. Mandhana smashed 86 runs off just 62 balls in the third T20I with the help of 12 fours and one six. Despite Mandhana’s heroics, Team India lost the match by 2 runs as New Zealand won the series 3-0.

It was also Smriti Mandhana’s highest score in the shortest format of the game, overtaking her 83 which she scored against Australia in 2018. The 22-year-old was unlucky to miss out on a century as she was caught off Sophie Devine’s bowling by Lea Tahuhu.
