Atlanta United staged a stunning upset in Major Soccer League (MLS) Cup playoffs, eliminating Supporters' Shield winners Inter Miami CF with a 3-2 victory at Chase Stadium.
Barcelona star Lionel Messi was in all praise for Manchester City, who beat Leicester City 5-1 in an English Premier League match on Saturday, and said that it was one of the best teams in the Champions League along with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as of now.
“Manchester City are one of the strongest teams around, as well as Paris Saint-Germain,” Messi told The Mirror. “I also do not exclude Real Madrid in terms of quality and experience, even though they have not yet achieved the expected results.
“Then there’s Bayern Munich, another great team who will play until the end. Today, however, the best are City and Paris Saint-Germain,” he added.
