Cristiano Ronaldo’s fellow countryman Luis Figo revealed the name of the player who was better than the five-time Ballon d’Or winner in front of the goal.
Figo is among one of the few players who had the opportunity to play with both the Juventus star and Selecao legend Ronaldo Nazario. However, Figo believes, Nazario was more clinical than CR7 when it comes to scoring the goals.
“It depends. CR7 scores more with his head but both are impressive,” Figo told DAZN, before adding, “As long as Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t stopped playing, I’ll say that Ronaldo (Nazario) was number one in front of goal, but they’re both players who guarantee you goals. The important thing is to put them in the position to score, then they do the rest.”

Ronaldo Nazario is counted as one of the greatest footballers of all time. However, Nazario’s club career was full of injuries that also limited his growth.
As per a report in Transfermarkt, Ronaldo Nazario scored 291 club goals in his career. Former Real Madrid and Manchester United man Cristiano Ronaldo has found the back of the net 578 times in his club career so far.
