One has to feel for Roberto Firmino. First Sadio Mane was copying the Brazilian’s goalscoring celebrations and now it seems Liverpool teammate James Milner has opted to borrow the striker’s look and the Reds faithful are loving it.

Firmino injured his eye in the Merseyside outfit’s 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on the weekend, but still managed to score the winner after coming off the bench in their midweek triumph over Paris Saint-Germain.

The medical staff of the club decided that the 26-year-old needed extra protection if he was to play and hence, the Brazilian trained with eyeglasses on Wednesday and Milner seems to have copied his look, albeit with a distinctly different hue:

Milner’s hitting his peak despite being well into his 30s for he’s been one of Liverpool’s best performers in the 2018/19 campaign so far.

The veteran put in a stellar showing against Les Parisiens and his tremendous work rate was put to good use as the Reds shut down Neymar each time the world’s most expensive player got a whiff of the ball.

The Reds are among the few sides in Europe to have a 100 per cent record in all competitions and Jurgen Klopp’s men are rightly considered as favourites for the Premier League title this season.

Milner and Co. will next be in action when they host Southampton at Anfield on Saturday (1930 GMT).

Firmino is expected to start the Premier League fixture, despite Daniel Sturridge impressing on his first start of the season in midweek against the French giants.
