India look to overcome K L Rahul’s injury scare ahead of BGT
Star batter K L Rahul was forced to retire hurt after being hit by a rising delivery from Prasidh Krishna during the team’s intra-squad match simulation at the WACA in Perth on Friday.
Senior Indian cricketer Lokesh Rahul’s magical 94-run innings went in vain as Mumbai Indians defeated Kings XI Punjab by three runs in a thriller on Wednesday at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
Chasing the target of 187 runs, KXIP openers Lokesh Rahul made 94 runs off 60 balls before losing his wicket to Mumbai pacer Jasprit Bumrah on a slower delivery. During his 94-run knock, Rahul struck 10 fours and three sixes.
Meanwhile, Twitterati showered praises on KL Rahul for his exceptional innings which almost won the game for Kings XI Punjab.
