Riding on Jos Buttler’s unbeaten 95 runs knock, Ajinkya Rahane’s Rajasthan Royals thrashed Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings by four wickets in the 43rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on Friday.

Here is the stats review of Friday’s match:

1- In the 11th edition of IPL, MS Dhoni’s side CSK have not bowled a single ‘no ball’ and they are the only club in the league to achieve this feat.

2- In IPL 2018, 5 times MS Dhoni has been involved in run-outs – the maximum number of times for any player in the 11th season of the league. However, interestingly MS has never got run out himself.

3- Rajasthan Royals’ wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler has scored four consecutive fifties.

4- Buttler scored 67 off 26 balls against Delhi Daredevils, 51 off 39 balls against Punjab, 82 off 58 balls vs Kings XI Punjab and 95* off 60 balls against CSK on Friday.

5- Only KXIP’s current mentor Virender Sehwag (five) has scored more fifties than Buttler. However, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli has also scored four consecutive fifties in IPL 2016.

6- CSK all-rounder Suresh Raina had taken 150 catches in the shortest format of the game – most by any Indian fielder and fourth player overall to achieve this feat.

7- CSK bowler Dwayne Bravo has been struck 19 sixes in IPL 2018 – joint-most for any player (Kuldeep Yadav has also registered 19 sixes under his belt).

8- On Friday, Rajasthan Royals chased down 177 against CSK – their highest successful chase against Chennai.
