New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi replaced Afghanistan bowler Zahir Khan in Ajinkaya Rahane-led Rajasthan Royals squad in the ongoing eleventh season of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Rajasthan Royals have picked Sodhi from the Registered Available Player Pool (RAPP) list. This will Sodhi’s first stint in the cash-rich league.
Sodhi has played 26 T20I, 22 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 15 Test matches for New Zealand so far.

In their opening game of the tournament, Steve Smith-less Rajasthan Royals were defeated by nine wickets by the SunRisers Hyderabad on 8 April.
Ajinkya Rahane’s team will play their next match against Gautam Gambhir-led Delhi Daredevils on April 11 in their home fixture.
