In the 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Mumbai Indians, Mumbai bowled well to restrict Delhi to 174 for four in the allotted 20 overs at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, on Sunday.

After winning the toss, Shreyas Iyer opted to bat first and Australian player Glenn Maxwell opened Delhi’s innings along with young Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw. The duo added 30 runs for the first wicket in 3 overs before Prithvi Shaw was sent back because of a bizarre run-out by Hardik Pandya. And soon Maxwell was removed by Jasprit Bumrah at the score of 22 runs.

However, Krunal Pandya broke their partnership by sending Iyer back to the stands at the score of 6 runs.

Following Iyer’s departure, Vijay Shanker joined Pant at the crease and added 64 runs for the wickets. Mumbai Indians all-rounder Krunal Pandya brought the visitors back into the game by taking Pant’s wicket in the 17th over of the game.

After Pant was sent back, Abhishek Sharma joined Shankar on the field and guided Delhi to 174 for four.
