In the 17th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings crushed Rajasthan Royals by 64 runs on Friday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, which is also southern franchise’s new home venue.

Here are the stats review of Friday’s match:

1- Shane Watson is the only player in the Indian Premier League (IPL), who has scored the century for the home side (CSK) and, earlier, for the rival when he was part of RR.

2- On Friday in the 17th match between CSK and RR, Watson scored 106 runs. Watson had also scored 103 runs in IPL2013 while playing for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings.

3- At the score of 8 runs, Watson was dropped by Rajasthan’s Rahul Tripathi. After getting dropped, he scored 98 runs and hammered RR’s bowling line-ups.

4- In the 17th game of IPL 2018, CSK reached the landmark of 150 runs in just 13 overs and this is the fastest 150 by CSK.

5- CSK is the only IPL franchise that had crossed the landmark of 200 runs 14th times in the IPL.

6- Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore had scored 200 runs 13 times, they are at the second spot.

7- On Friday, Chennai’s players hit 25 boundaries and this is the highest number of fours by CSK in an IPL match.

8- CSK’s previous record of boundaries was against Mumbai Indians. In IPL 2008, CSK batters had struck 24 boundaries against MI.

9- In IPL 2012, CSk had equalled their record by hitting 24 fours against Delhi Daredevils.

10- On Friday for the 12th time, MS Dhoni’s CSK had won an IPL match by 50 runs or more than fifty runs.
