Mohammad Shami was the most expensive bowler from India.
Riding on Shimron Hetmyer’s (106 runs off 78 balls) explosive batting, Jason Holder-led West Indies cricket team posted a mammoth total of 322 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the opening One Day International match of the five-match series on Sunday being played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.
After winning the toss, Virat Kohli invited West Indies to bat first and somehow managed to execute their plans as the Caribbean’s lost four wickets in 22 overs with 114 runs on board.
