Such is the craze of the much-anticipated clash that tickets of the India-Pakistan match on Sunday at Manchester were sold within hours the sale began.

However, more surprising is the fact that fans who had brought the tickets earlier are now reselling them at a much larger price – the tickets range from approximately 20,000 to 60,000 thousand rupees.

To facilitate the resale of tickets, a website called Viagogo is playing the mediator. It is worth noting that fans are even ready to pay this extra amount and witness the India-Pakistan World Cup clash.

The tickets in the Platinum category is available on this website at 62,610 rupees while the  Bronze category tickets, which is the lowest category, is being sold at 20,171 rupees.

As per the data available, as many as 480 people have asked the website to resell their tickets. These tickets are now being sold to people who need it. Since the demand is huge, the prices are set at an alarming rate.

This will be the seventh India-Pakistan clash in a World Cup stage. On all previous meetings, India has been on the winning side.

The ads are going viral, the mind games have started and emotions are at an all-time high as the neighbouring nations are set to take the field in a packed, 20000 seater-Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.

While India have managed to win all their completed matches, Pakistan have won only one out of the remaining four and a win against India might give them a lot of confidence going ahead in the tournament.
