India’s carrom-baller, spin wizard Ashwin bids adieu to international cricket
India's decorated off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin announced his decision to retire from international cricket moments after the Brisbane Test ended in a draw.
The last two ODIs will be played in Hamilton and Wellington respectively.
After scripting history Down Under, Virat Kohli-led Team India has embarked on a tour of New Zealand, where they are scheduled to play five-match One Day International (ODI) and T20I series against the Blackcaps.
India and New Zealand are currently ranked second and third, respectively, in the International Cricket Council (ICC) ODI ranking. And when both the teams take on each other, they will be looking to better their ODI ranking ahead of the ICC 2019 World Cup.

On Sunday, when Team India reached Auckland, they were welcomed with loud cheers by local Indian cricket fans. The loudest cheers were however reserved for Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma.

The upcoming five-match ODI series between India and New Zealand begins on January 23. The series opener will be played in Napier. The second and third ODI will be played in Mount Maunganui.
The last two ODIs will be played in Hamilton and Wellington respectively.
