South Africa’s Hashim Amla, who took just 101 ODI innings to score 5000 runs, is placed on the top of the table. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and West Indies great Viv Richards occupy the second spot. Both Kohli and Richards had taken 114 innings to score 5000.
At the third spot are now Shikhar Dhawan and Brian Lara, with both having taken 118 innings to score 5000 runs. New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is on the fourth spot on the list. Williamson had taken 119 innings to touch the milestone of 5000 runs.

Dhawan, who has been of late struggling with his form, also beat Sourav Ganguly to become the second quickest Indian to 5000 runs. The first spot is reserved by Virat Kohli. Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly is now the third fastest Indian to 5000 runs. Dada had reached the milestone in 126 innings.
