Star Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been ruled out of England series as he has not recovered from his injury.
Earlier, when the 18-member squad for the first three Tests of the five-match series against England was announced, the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) had said that Bhuvi could be available for the last two games. However, now according to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has failed to recover from his injury and will not be available for the last two Tests.
Bhuvneshwar is currently attending the rehab programme at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore and Indian cricket team management is not worried about his non-availability as Jasprit Bumrah is now fully fit.

Meanwhile, Indian opener in limited overs game, Rohit Sharma is ready to open in Test matches if Indian team management ever considers that as an option.
Rohit Sharma has played 25 Test matches so far and scored 1,479 runs at an average of 40 with the help of three centuries and nine fifties.
In the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England, viewers witnessed the trio of KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay struggling. And when Rohit was posed a question if he would like to open the innings in Test matches too, he said, “Look, I have never been offered (to open the innings in Tests) yet but I am open to anything as in whatever the team management wants. I never thought I will be an opener in ODIs when I started playing or when I was playing for India. But it happened along the way, so I (want to) keep my options open. No option is shut for me, so if the opportunity comes, I will take it.”
