The two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh is scheduled to begin from Thursday. The first Test will be played between 14-18 November at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The series is part of the ICC Test Championship and some vital points will be at stake for both the teams.

Bright, sunny day
The match is scheduled to begin on 14 November and will be played till 18 November. According to reports from India Meteorological Department, chances of a downpour in the city during these dates are close to none.
The winter season has started to set in the city but despite that, it is expected to be a bright sunny day at Indore. The humidity levels are expected to be around 46 percent and thus there are no chances of rainfall as of now.
Match will not be interrupted
No overs are expected to be lost in the Indore Test. This means that neither the rains nor bad light are expected to come into the picture in the Indore Test match. With the weather expected to be pleasant and given the history of the stadium, expect fans to turn up in huge numbers in the stadium and watch the teams play.
Second Test at this venue
Notably, this is the second Test at Indore’s Holkar Stadium. The Test match which has been played here prior to this was the India-New Zealand Test in 2016. India had gone to win that Test by 321 runs.
Indian captain Virat Kohli had won the toss and elected to bat first in that test. India scored a mammoth 557 runs in the first innings and then dismissed the opposition for just 299 runs on the board.
In the second innings, India declared at 216/3 and then bundled out the Kiwis for just 153 runs. With this, India won the game by 321 runs.
