As India registered a 50-run win over Australia in the second ODI at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Thursday, Indian cricketer Suresh Raina wrapped it up in a recipe of a perfect victory.
“Marinated in a half century followed by a grilling spell of new ball bowling & garnished by the two spinners! Delicious, #TeamIndia @BCCI,” Raina said on Twitter.

India rode on Virat Kohli’s 92-run knock, which was later supported by bowling spells of Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/9) and Kuldeep Yadav (3/54).
Chinaman spinner Kuldeep took a hat-trick in the same match to become India’s third bowler to claim the feat in ODIs. Earlier, Chetan Sharma (1987) and Kapil Dev (1991) had done the same against New Zealand and Sri Lanka respectively.
On the achievement, Raina had wished the 22-year-old Kanpur boy during the match asking for a five-wicket haul.
“Three in three and all of them through different modes of dismissal, that’s the way to do it! Shabash, @imkuldeep18 Lets do a five-for,” Raina tweeted.

Kuldeep dismissed Mathew Wade, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins in consecutive deliveries of the 33rd over.
