Ravindra Jadeja, India’s all-rounder, may miss the second test against England after suffering a hamstring injury on day four of the first test in Hyderabad.
The results of the all-rounder’s scan in Hyderabad have been sent to Mumbai, and he was clearly in pain after Ben Stokes ran him out on Sunday.

An evaluation of the severity of the hamstring injury is due on Monday, and the Indian all-rounder may miss the second test in Vizag.
If Jadeja is deemed unfit, Kuldeep Yadav could be a viable alternative. However, the club will undoubtedly miss the all-rounder’s batting power and, more crucially, his exceptional defensive abilities.
Jadeja (87) was India’s leading scorer in the first inning. He only scored two runs before being removed in the second inning. His combined bowling performance in the first test was 5-219.
“To be honest, I haven’t spoken to Pysio yet. “When I get back, I’ll speak with him and see what’s going on,” Rahul Dravid stated in the post-match press conference.
The Indian squad is likely to travel to Vishakhapatnam on Tuesday for their second test, which will commence on February 2.
