The 24-year all-rounder helped the Kiwis defeat South Africa, who finished as the runners-up for the second year running, by 32 runs.
Ahead of the India women vs Australia women match, here is everything you need to know.
Both India and Australia will aim to continue their winning momentum in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup when they will face each other in their last group clash on Saturday, 17 November. The match will be played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The match will start at 20:30 IST.
On Thursday, an all-round performance by India against Ireland, led by Mithali Raj and spinners, helped the Women-in-Blue confirm their spot in the semi-finals. The Australian team have also remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and would like to continue their winning streak even though they have already qualified for the next round.
Ahead of the India vs Australia match, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana too asserted that the team was looking to continuing with their dominant run.

“I think we will be looking at it as a match only and not just like we need to be on the top of the table of this group,” Smriti Mandhana said. “That’s what our mindset will be, and to go all out. Before coming into the World T20, Ramesh (Powar, the coach) had told us that you have to dominate each and every match, so that is the only mindset which we had the last three matches, and I don’t think it will change in the next match,” she added.
