Nakajima wins Hero Indian Open with record winning score, India’s Ahlawat tied second
At one stage, Nakajima was nine clear of the field, but finally finished four ahead to take his maiden DP World Tour title at the DLF Golf and Country Club.

Over 144 leading professionals will be seen in a action in the US$ 247,500 prize money Hero Indian open -the country’s National and flagship golf tournament , to be held between March 28-31, at the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram.The winner will receive a cheque of US$ 382,500, the runner-up picking up US$ 247,500 and the third-place finisher pocketing US$ 140,850.

The 57th edition of the tournament will be a part of the Asian Swing bringing added benefits for the Swing Champion. It will be the second of five events comprising the Asian Swing as part of the new-look 2024 Race to Dubai.

While the entry list is yet to be closed, leading the field will be former champion Anirban Lahiri, who won in 2015, Shiv Kapur, three-time DP World Tour winner Nicolas Colsaerts of Belgium and the new exciting talent Kazumi Kobori of New Zealand.
