Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Wednesday took a jibe at cricketer-turned-commentator Sanjay Majrekar after the latter called Jadeja a bits-and-pieces cricketer.
“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at the point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner,” said Manjrekar when asked about if Jadeja can be played in place of Yuzvendra Chahal or Kuldeep Yadav who togetherly conceded 160 runs against England.

Offended by the comment, the 30-year-old all-rounder lashed out at Majrekar saying that he has heard enough of his “verbal diarrhoea”.
“Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea @sanjaymanjrekar,” wrote Jadeja on Twitter.
Notably, Ravindra Jadeja, who is in the 15-member World Cup squad of India, has not played a single game in the ongoing World Cup yet but has been a great help for the team as a substitute fielder.
Majrekar has played 74 ODIs and 37 Test matches for India, whereas Jadeja has played 151 ODIs for India along with an experience of 41 Test matches .
