It is worth highlighting that Villa has previously been part of top European clubs including FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Valencia. He was Spain’s hero in their 2010 FIFA World Cup Winning campaign and ended the tournament as their highest goal scorer.

He also starred in the team that won the European Championships in 2008. Villa also contributed significantly in Spain’s qualification for Euro 2012 but could not be part of the tournament, which Spain went on to win, because of an injury.
