Sri Lanka’s Reset
Sri Lanka has taken a decisive step toward reshaping its political and economic trajectory.
Dale Steyn had returned to Test cricket after a gap of 13 months due to a shoulder injury.
Star South African pacer Dale Steyn on Saturday (14th July) equalled Shaun Pollock’s record by becoming the joint highest wicket-taker in the Test cricket of the rainbow nation.
During the second innings of the opening Test match of the two-match series between South Africa and Sri Lanka at Galle, Steyn removed Islanders’ last batsman Lakshan Sandakan from the strike to claim his 421st wicket and in the process equalled Shaun Pollock’s record of 421 dismissals in the longest format of the game.
