“I couldn’t promise Chris [Smalling] regular football, so he is on the plane over now. I think he’ll enjoy the experience,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said as quoted by Paul Hirst, a reporter for The Times.

Smalling has featured in as many as 323 matches for Manchester United in the last nine years and netted 18 goals apart from recording four assists.
The 29-year-player went on to win a couple of Premier League titles, a solitary English FA Cup, an English League Cup and UEFA Europa Cup each and as many as three English Super Cups with Manchester United.
