The explosive Caribbean batsman was the part of Kings XI Punjab squad (KXIP) in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL).

In the 11th season of the Indian T20 League, Gayle was the second highest run-getter for Punjab after wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul (659 runs).

The 38-year-old cricketer played 11 matches in IPL and scored 368 runs at an average of 40.88. Gayle also scored an unbeaten 104 runs.
