Sania Mirza plans Hajj pilgrimage, focuses on spiritual journey
Sania Mirza announces her upcoming pilgrimage to Hajj, embracing a spiritual journey while bidding farewell to her tennis career.

Sania delivered the child early Tuesday morning in a Hyderabad hospital, and both the mother and the child are doing well, according to reports.
Filmmaker Farah Khan, who is one of Sania’s close friends, was among the first ones to wish the couple on Instagram.
She wrote, “Finally!! Best news in a long time!! Congratulations @mirzasaniar@realshoaibmalik @anammirzaaa@imranmirza58 n of course the nani n daadi God bless our lil angel”
Sania and Shoaib were married in a traditional Hyderabadi Muslim wedding ceremony on April 12, 2010.
Mirza had made the announcement about her pregnancy on social media in April, posting an illustration of different closets for a boy and a girl. She had captioned the photo “#BabyMirzaMalik”. In an interview later, the tennis star had said their child would be called “Mirza Malik”. “Today I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza-Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that’s where we stand as a family including my husband. He actually wants a daughter,” Mirza had said.
