The proposed changes came into play after an independent tribunal found some aspects of the APT rules to be unlawful following Manchester City’s lawsuit.
The 24-year-old saw the lighter side of the Red Devils’ blunder.
Manchester United defender Eric Bailly turned 24 on Thursday and while his club baked a cake for him on his big day, they goofed up on his age, but thankfully the Ivorian saw the funny side of the blooper as he posted on Instagram with a cheeky caption and hashtag to boot.
Bailly has become something of a cult figure at United and is a popular member in the dressing room.
Since his arrival from Spanish La Liga side Villareal C.F. in 2016, the centre-back has emerged as a mainstay of Jose Mourinho’s side, with some fans going as far as claiming he’s the next Nemanja Vidic.
The 24-year-old’s antics on social media often go viral, while his banter with maverick striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now the stuff of legend.
The jury is still out on fellow central defenders Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof but Bailly had definitely been a standout option at the back for Jose Mourinho.

The first is a home clash against bottom-ranked West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and the second is an away trip to Bournemouth on Wednesday night before the Red Devils turn their attentions to a FA Cup semi-final date with Tottenham Hotspur on April 21.
