In a recent media interaction, Barcelona star Arturo Vidal has shed light upon his future plans and stated that he might consider leaving the Spanish giants if he does not get enough match time.
Notably, Vidal had moved to Barcelona from Bayern Munich in August 2018, for a reported fee of as much as €18million. Although his inclusion in the Barca squad surprised many pundits and former players, he soon became a regular starter of the team with his great performances on the field in the 2018-19 season.

In his 66 outings for Barca, Vidal netted as many as seven goals and assisted another eight. However, despite his great run of play in the previous season, he is not a sure starter in the team under manager Ernesto Valverde. Surprisingly, he has only started in three La Liga matches this season and he might consider parting ways with the club if he feels left out at the club and does not get enough minutes on the pitch.
“I would like to be here at Barcelona always but I must be objective and live day by day,” Vidal was quoted as saying by Sport.
“If in December or when the season ends, that I don’t feel I’m important here, I will have to find a solution and broaden my horizons to be important,” he added.
In the ongoing season, Vidal has played 13 matches so far in which he has scored four goals and a solitary assist.
