He further said that “All the signs are good and I feel ready and fit.. For this game, If I could bank on less than 30 overs today, I would have been sweet. But if it goes deep, especially with Greeny going down, 40 overs might have been a stretch so I made the call before the game.”
On being asked if he is eying for a return in place of injured Mitchell Starc, the star fast bowler said that “I think I’ll be right, yeah. I haven’t had a chat with them, but before this game, I had a good chat with them over a few days and it ended up being my call for the game, so I feel in a good position.”
Notably, Australia thrashed the visitors South Africa in the second test by an innings and 182 runs. The hosts have already claimed the series by 2-0 and now they are looking forward to whitewash the visitors in the upcoming Sydney Test match.
