The wicketkeeper-batsman took only 61 balls during her record-setting knock. Her blitzkrieg included 19 boundaries and 7 sixes. She brought up her century off 46 balls, the second fastest in history and fastest by an Australian. Having celebrated her 100th T20I two days ago, the 29-year-old comfortably passed her previous personal best of 90.

“It was just one of those days where everything seemed to come out of the middle, so I’ll take that,” Healy told Fox Cricket.
The wicketkeeper-batter went past her skipper Meg Lanning’s 133* which the latter had scored against England on 26 July earlier this year.
It is to note that the record for the highest individual score by an Indian woman in T20Is belongs to Harmanpreet Kaur who had scored 103 runs against New Zealand in November last year.
Talking about the match between Australia and Sri Lanka, Lanning won the toss for the hosts and opted to bat.
Riding on Healy’s heroics Australia posted a giant total of 226 for 2 in their stipulated quota of 20 overs before restricting Sri Lanka to 94 for 7 in 20 overs. For Australia, Nicola Carey returned figures of 3 for 15.
With the win, Australia won the three-match T20I series 3-0.
The two teams meet next for ODIs starting 5 October in Bisbane.
