Veteran wicketkeeper of the Australian women’s team Alyssa Healy became only the ninth woman to appear in 100 T20 International on Monday. The same was confirmed in a statement released by International Cricket Council (ICC) adding that the 29-year-old is only the second Australian to achieve the feat after Ellyse Perry.
Healy has inarguably been one of the best players in the Aussie dressing room lately and was even named the ICC T20I Player of the Year in December 2018. Since the 50 overs World Cup in 2017, Healy has scored more runs in coloured jersey than any of her national teammates.
She even went on to be acknowledged as the Player of the Series in the 2018 edition of the ICC World T20 after having made her T20I debut as a 19-year-old teen in February 2010 against New Zealand.
