Indian football team’s winless streak continues with 1-1 draw against Malaysia
The Indian football team's winless streak this year continues as they played a 1-1 draw against the lower-ranked Malaysia at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.
Notably, Alisson was forced to leave the football ground in Liverpool’s opening match of the season against Norwich City.
Liverpool star goalie Alisson Becker has shared good news for all the Reds fans out there. He has given a positive update on the state of his calf injury.
He stated that he is in fact very close to making a comeback on the football ground after he was ruled out for seven weeks owing to a calf muscle injury. The Brazil International player had earlier resumed his outdoor training earlier in the month and is currently focusing on regaining match fitness before returning to action in the ongoing season.
Notably, Alisson was forced to leave the football ground in Liverpool’s opening match of the season against Norwich City which had prompted the Reds to give match time to new signing Adrian. However, the newly crowned Best FIFA Men’s goalkeeper is now looking forward to make a comeback once he regains complete fitness.

“I’m in a good way, I think we are nearly there,” Alisson was quoted as saying by Liverpool’s official website.
“I can go outside to the pitch to do some goalkeeper work and I feel very well.
“I feel confident and I think now it’s just about getting all my power, all my confidence to come back and do what I love to do,” he added.
He added that it meant a lot to him psychologically that he was now able to train again with his teammates.
“It’s massive because if I look back, two weeks ago I couldn’t even walk properly,” he said.
“Now I’m running [and] jumping on my right leg that was injured, so I’m really happy for that.
“It’s great. When you are a player you want to have the contact with the ball, with the guys on the pitch, the routine of training. It’s what I love to do.”
He also showered praise upon Adrian who has done a good job between the poles in Alisson’s absence.
“He’s (Adrian) a special guy who came late in the season, he just came and shows everyone his value, not just as a player but as a person and that is the more important thing.
“He is doing very well on the pitch. I have peace to recover in a proper way, so it’s better for everyone,” Alisson concluded.
