Here is the season for perfectly ripe strawberries. They make great addition to milkshakes and smoothies. Add a scoop of strawberry ice cream in each glass and enjoy its delicious flavour. It’s a small portion, but it adds a hint of creamy flavour to this sweet treat. To keep the calorie count low, we are using low-fat milk and low-fat ice cream.

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
Low-fat milk: 3 glasses
Strawberries: 250 grams
Sugar: 3 tablespoons
Strawberry ice cream: 5 scoops
Method:
Wash strawberries and chop them.
Puree chopped strawberries in a food processor adding sugar to it.
Pour milk into pureed strawberries-sugar mixture and blend for two to three minutes adding some crushed ice.
Take 5 tall glasses. Put one ice cream scoop in each glass and pour strawberry shake on the top.
Garnish with a strawberry on the rim of each glass.
Put a straw and a spoon in each glass and serve chilled.
