Yes, with the winter here, the skin begins to dry and the lips chap easily. This is because lips are the most sensitive part of our body and are more susceptible to drying compared to other parts of our body.
These days, markets are flooded with all kinds of lip balms ranging from fruity flavours to tinted lip balms. Certain lip balms make lips feel good on first application but within a span of two hours it leaves your lip skin dry and chappy.

Here is a simple DIY lip balm recipe that won’t dry your lips, instead it will keep them moisturised and supple for hours.
Beeswax- 1 tablespoon
Coconut oil- 1 tablespoon
Organic honey- 1 tablespoon
Vitamin E capsules- 2 nos
Essential oil (optional)- 2 drops
In a boiler, melt the beeswax. After the beeswax melts down completely, add honey and coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients together. Now gently add two vitamin e capsules into the mixture. Stir well and transfer the mixture in a small jar. Apply as and when needed and enjoy supple lips throughout the year.
However, remember to exfoliate the lips prior to applying any lip balm.
