The world of beauty and fashion is growing rapidly with the ever-expanding beauty business. Should you care or not. Stars and celebrities set the trends, and some remain beauty inspirations. Here’s what some of the celebrated stars have to say about beauty and fashion and what they do as quoted by different sources.
In a move that would inspire many, model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne, recently, sent out a message to women that they can feel beautiful even without their hair. The 24-year-old underwent a bold makeover and shaved off her hair.
“So many people are cutting their hair off. I love that; the more the merrier. I wanted to highlight the fact you don’t need hair to be feminine or beautiful,” Delevingne was quoted by Stylist magazine
And, what legendary actress and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn said remains a great beauty inspiration for many: “The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.”
Close to it, actress and beauty icon Sophia Loren too believes beauty “is not something physical.”
“Beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical,” the Italian actress was once quoted as saying.
While the world is still obsessed with perfect beauty tips and beautiful looks, beauty icon Marilyn Monroe, whose perfect gorgeous looks is being tried upon by many still, once said, “Imperfection is beauty”.
Actress Reese Witherspoon has something different to say. Fashion is all about storytelling, she said.
“I’m a storyteller, and fashion is storytelling, too. This has put me in a new sphere of influence. I’m very motivated to tell stories which haven’t been told,” the actress was quoted as saying in Glamour magazine.
Then, a year ago, Star Trek beyond actor Chris Pine said people should spend some time to look good.
“In California, fashion tends to be very casual – probably because everybody is stuck in their cars and no one cares. It’d be nice if people spent some time trying to look good. I do the same…”
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian reveals she refuses to go anywhere without sunscreen.
“For me, anti-aging is really all about hydration. Drinking lots of water is a must. I also wear sunscreen every day, especially on my hands. Hands are always out in the sun, so they age the most. I keep extra sunscreen in the glove boxes of all of my cars in case I forget. When the sun hits my hands while I’m driving, it reminds me to slather more on! (sic)” she wrote on her website.
