You can be guilt-free as these refreshing drinks are low in calorie and full of nutrition. So, entertain this summer with these thirst-quenching beverages.
Pink Lady

Take two cups of chopped and deseeded watermelon. Put the pieces in a blender and blend for few seconds. Strain the juice. Add four tablespoons of fresh strawberry pulp to it. Blend again till smooth. Fill one-third glass with crushed ice. Pour the juice and pulp blend. Garnish with a slit strawberry and a sprig of mint. You may add two scoops of vanilla ice cream while blending watermelon juice and strawberry pulp. It’s up to you, whether you want to keep it low in calorie or high in taste.
Orange blossom
Blend one and a half teacup of orange juice with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a half cup of chopped strawberries. Fill one-third glass with crushed ice and pour the blended drink. Garnish with slit orange segments on the glass rim.
Virgin Mary
Mix one and a half teacups of home-made tomato juice with two teaspoons of lemon juice, half teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, two drops of tabasco sauce, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper and few cubes of ice. Blend for a few seconds. Add one cup fresh cucumber juice and few mint leaves. Blend again for few seconds. Pour in a tall stem glass. Garnish with a lemon slice.
Burgundy Red Beauty
Take 150 grams of phalsa fruit. Wash them. Take out the pulp smashing them adding little water in a deep container. Sieve it. Take out juice of two mausamies. Mix both the juices. Add one-fourth teaspoon of black salt and two teaspoons of powdered sugar. Blend for a few seconds. Fill one-third glass with crushed ice. Pour the blend of juice and pulp. Give a good stir. Garnish with an unpeeled mausami slice and a cherry pierced on a stirrer stick on the rim of the glass.
Apple Mania
Peel one ripe apple. Cut it into small pieces. Blend chopped apples with little apple juice in a food processor till smooth. Take one and a half cup of fresh apple juice. Mix it well with pureed apple and two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Keep this mixture in the fridge. At the time of serving, take it out and give a nice blend. Sprinkle some lemon juice and cinnamon powder. Mix well. Garnish with few apple cubes.
