Amid the sound of colours and happiness, the city witnessed an impressive “exhibition of the best of fashion and lifestyle” under Runway Rising presented by Ramola Bachchan.
“I was delighted to introduce the Diwali edition of Runway Rising 2017 where we had an exciting collection of fresh new designers and well as all your favorites to help you get ready for the party season,” Bachchan said.

The 17th edition of Runway Rising, which was held on September 26, featured exclusive collections by designers like Balance by Rohit Bal, The Pink Mirror, Toxic, Zairah Jewellery, Shaanyah, Sanam Tamanna Dubai, Kylee by Ruchi Jain, Sonia Ahuja, Bumble Bee, Vintage Loom, Kanabis, Anvita Thakkar Label ,Fly Robe, Barefoot Yogi, Lulu, Sky and many more.

The exhibition, which was held at The Ashok Hotel, Chanakyapuri, saw many of Delhi’s known shopping faces in attendance. Spotted at this Diwali shopping carnival were Aman and Simran Nayyar, Kishica Arora, Shimul Chawla, Shreyaa Sethi, Sumita Garg, Bhavika Bhatia and Rohina Chawla among others.
Conceptualised and founded by Bachchan in October 2012, the “exhibition of the best of fashion and lifestyle” provides a platform to young and talented designers along with established top notch- designers/brands that cater to the needs of Delhi’s elite and Fashion forward crowd.
With over 130 designers participating, the show offered various merchandise like footwear, accessories, and clothes. The stuff included suits, lehenga’s, drape sarees, embroidered Jhooti’s, potli bags, heels and jewelry to match all your festive outfits, or the perfect outfit for your next date, or that suit you needed for the next shaadi and most definitely for all your Diwali parities.
With accessories starting from Rs.2,500, gifting options like lamps and trays, everything you will need this Diwali was available at this pre-Diwali edition of Runway Rising.
