Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June every year to honour the role of a father in the development and growth of a child. The relationship between a father and a child is a special one.
While Father’s Day falls on 16th June in India this year, many countries in the world celebrate it on other days most commonly in the month of March, April and June according to the home nation’s customs.
The day complements similar celebrations honouring family members, such as the Mother’s Day, Siblings Day and Grandparents’ Day.
