Following her dream, came a girl from Jaipur who challenged the conservative mindset of the domestic household and fought her way to become a recognized actor-model, Kapilakshi Malhotra.

Kapilakshi Malhotra hails from Jaipur, who was born in the year 1996 on 15 October. Malhotra was fascinated with the world of cinema, how actors would perform a scene? How was it shot? Why was the scene written? Who was the producer, director of a movie? When did the music and other technical teams work their magic? These were the questions Kapilakshi had when she was growing up.

After completing her graduation, Kapilakshi set her sails to the city of dreams, Mumbai, to achieve her goal, to become an actress.

Malhotra worked very hard on her figure and started doing ramp shows for different designers. She also did some short courses on acting to continue the “riyaaz” and eventually worked in theatre. Theatre gave her a new perspective of the acting process and she made the most out of the given opportunities.

Kapilakshi came from a humble background; she knew that success was only a corner away if she relentlessly worked hard. Malhotra used to rehearse for her plays along with some modelling projects so as to survive in the city. It was her focus and determination to achieve the dream that gave her a huge break.

Kapilakshi got selected for a Tollywood film and made her debut in Murali Ramaswamy directed film ‘Prema Pipasi’. The film released on 13 March 2020 and Kapilakshi was lauded for her performance. The Telugu industry has welcomed the 24-year-old with open arms and has acknowledged her skills and talent as an actor.

Malhotra has now set her eyes on debuting in a Hindi film; she has the passion and determination of her childhood and ample of theatre experience to enhance her talent.
