Gaurav Gogoi denies allegations against wife, accuses BJP of political smear campaign
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has rejected allegations linking his British wife, Elizabeth Colburn, to Pakistan’s ISI, calling them politically motivated and baseless.
He even challenged the state government saying that Pegasus spyware was unable to breach Facetime and Telegram calls.

He claimed that he was aware of the phone tapping that was going on for the past three months and hence was using several phones and different sims to discuss secrets.

It is ironic because the YSRCP while in the opposition had alleged that the then Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had procured the spyware from Israelis and were using it against the YSRCP, he said.
Previously, the MLA had embarrassed the ruling party by wading into the dirty waters of a drain to highlight civic issues in his constituency.
