Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath listened to the grievances of over 300 people and assured them of resolving “every problem quickly and efficiently” during the Janata Darshan programme held in Gorakhpur on Monday. Earlier in the morning, he performed ‘Rudrabhishek’ and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people.

On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti on Sunday, Yogi Adityanath had offered ‘khichdi’ at the Gorakhnath Temple. On Monday morning, he performed Rudrabhishek with sugarcane juice and prayed to ‘Mahadev’ for public welfare. The ritual was performed in the Shakti Mandir located on the first floor of the Goraksha Peeth Math.

He personally went to the complainants and heard each of them individually. He told them not to worry as “every problem would have a quality solution and that no one would be subject to injustice”.

On the request of several visitors for financial assistance for the treatment of serious diseases, the CM said it would be provided as soon as the estimates were ready. “No one’s treatment will be hampered due to a lack of money,” CM Yogi assured.

As regards land-grabbing complaints, the chief minister stated that strict legal action would be taken in such cases and that those involved in such acts would be given appropriate lessons.
