Naidu said that the book talks about Athawale’s approach of peaceful resistance and protest that strengthens the democracy adding that it is important to identify glaring inequalities and take concrete action to bridge the gaps.

Naidu said that proper representation of women of the country in Parliament and state legislatures should be a reality soon. Naidu further said that the government should pay attention towards India’s Tribal population and said that protection of De-notified, Nomadic tribes is very important.

Their uplift and development is necessary for the preservation of the rich diverse Indian culture, Naidu added.
