A few days back, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a gamut of celebrities from the Hindi film industry at his official residence in New Delhi. The occasion was a special screening of a short film, with a ticker reading, “150 years of celebrating the Mahatma” as part of the celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
On Wednesday, the official Twitter handle of the BJP tweeted a video that shows selected moments from the program. The duration of the video is just above nine minutes and is produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films with support from the Government of India.

He acknowledged the effort of Rajkumar Hirani who conceptualized and directed the film and bringing together some of the biggest names from the industry who included Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Nigam, Vicky Kaushal, Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, among many others.
The PM asked the gathering of their feedback, ideas, suggestions, etc. with regards to the spreading the Gandhian ideology across the world to which the celebrities responded with much enthusiasm, gusto, and humility.
