UP govt to launch courier and parcel service via UPSRTC buses soon
A five-year agreement has been signed between the UPSRTC and M/s AVG Logistics Ltd. Delhi, to facilitate this service.
The MD has clearly said that the negligence of the officers will not be tolerated in accidents caused by fog.
In view of rising road accidents due to dense fog, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) have decided not to ply buses in the night fir next one month.
Officials confirmed on Tuesday that UPSRTC buses will not operate from 8 pm to 8 am or till fog is clear,in view of fog in the state.
Regional/Assistant Regional Managers will be on duty at bus stations from 8 pm to mid night to monitor fog condition, officials said.

Corporation’s Managing Director Sanjay Kumar said there will be no online booking of night buses for the next one month.
MD said buses should avoid running on the route at night and if there is too much fog even during the day time, then the buses should be parked at the nearest bus station.

Kumar on Tuesday issued clear instructions through video conferencing to all regional managers, service managers and assistant regional managers of the state. He said that to prevent accidents due to fog, buses should not be operated at night.
