UP govt committed in combating maternal anaemia: Dy CM Brajesh Pathak
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak Friday reaffirmed the government’s dedication to combating maternal anaemia.
The district authorities have been asked to do antigen test on the spot and the positive cases would have to be confirmed with RTPCR test.
The Uttar Pradesh Government is keeping all districts on alert and asked them to go for focus sampling for countering the spread of Corona in their areas.
Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak, who holds health portfolio, issued directives to all districts on Friday directing to go for focus sampling to stop spread of the virus.
” A blueprint for focus sampling should be prepared at the bus stands, railway stations, airports and markets,he said while adding that screening of medical stores, sweet store operators, tempo drivers, street hawkers should also be done and their corona tests should be done compulsorily.

” Antigen test should be done on the spot. If any positive is found in it, then its RTPCR test should be done. Samples may also be sent for genome sequencing,” Pathak said.

He said people should be made aware about the benefits of wearing masks and sanitization. Regular sanitization should be done in the market and public places.
The Deputy CM said that Isolation and ICU wards along with and Ventilators should be operated from time to time.
